by car

  • M62 Junction 25
    • Follow the signs for Huddersfield, and Huddersfield Town Centre. Turn left onto the ring road, follow the signs for Kingsgate.
  • M62 Junction 24
    • Follow the signs for Huddersfield, and Huddersfield Town Centre. At the ring road head towards Bradford / Leeds and the town centre, then turn right to Kingsgate.
  • From A62
    • Follow the signs for Huddersfield Town Centre. Turn Right on to the ring road and then follow the signs for Kingsgate.
  • From A616
    • Follow the signs for Huddersfield Town Centre. Turn Right on to the ring road and then follow the signs for Kingsgate.

    • Take 2nd exit off the roundabout and join the ring road following the signs for Leeds and Bradford. Then follow the signs for Kingsgate.

    • Huddersfield Train Station is located in St Georges Square

      On leaving the square turn right and walk along Railway Street, then left down Cloth Hall Street which continues into King Street. The Kingsgate Shopping Centre is located on King Street.
  • By Bus

    • Huddersfield Train Station is located in St Georges Square

      As you exit the station you will see Sainsbury’s at the side of Dundas Street walk along Dundas Street at the end of the road turn left on Market Street, then turn right at Cloth Hall Street which continues into King Street. Kingsgate Shopping Centre is located on King Street.

      Huddersfield FreeTownBus was launched in partnership with Kirklees Metropolitan Council in October 2006 and within five weeks had broken the 1,000 passengers-a-day barrier. It’s 1.5 mile route links key town centre locations including the bus and rail stations, Huddersfield University, the Kingsgate Centre and the indoor and outdoor markets. Buses run every ten minutes from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and from 8.30am to 5.30pm on Saturdays.
